Umbra

Umbra is a new multidisciplinary show format which, from dance, live music and multimedia interaction, create an unreal space where telling an everyday story, close to the public, who enjoys, suffers and catches the audience.

A tender and intense proposal, of beautiful aesthetics and careful staging; a visual poem created to, both for experts as for public not accustomed with the dance, can appreciate and enjoy the language of the movement.

We work with technology and multimedia interaction, generating graphs and modulating the sound from the movement of the dancer, always prioritizing the scene and movement, making invisible all the technology.

Sinopsi

Umbra is a multidisciplinary interactive show where dance, music and multimedia interaction converge together in a visual, poetic and intense language.

The show speaks to confront our fears, to break routines, the social constraints, break the established rules and liberate our oppressed me.

Umbra A grain of sand to social transformation in a world in which we have forgotten to look, listen, touch, feel and breathe. A global world in which we lost the nuances to form part of a whole increasingly gray.

Umbra is a contemporary production, which takes advantage, without abusing, from the possibilities provided by the current software to grow beyond the stage and audiovisual projections, creating virtual scenographies in real time.

MUT[is]#01

MUT[is]#01 is the dance piece resulting of the work in progress that companyia Múcab Dans made during 2011; a origina innovative performing proposal of dance, live music and articulated structures that surprise and excite the public.

The set designer Santi Cabús and the choreographer Irina Martínez have been enteret in the fusion between technology and sensitivity, between iron and movement, between toughness and tenderness, to enter the vast empire of silence.

Under an appearance that may seems uniform, say the company, there are "many kinds of silences and many ways to keep silent".

Synopsis

Silence is the expression of what is inexpressible? .. and what is inexpressible? what you can not say, but is it? not all that is what can be said? There is very evident realities that can not be fit into the conceptual and verbal speech.

In the land of silence, the word is a maladjusted foreign; talks and talks but says nothing. In the world of silence are the words are voices in the desert, voices without answer or without echo.

The silence appears occasionally, without noise, without major preliminaries. Most often sought but not something arbitrary and accidental. The silence rest in a few moments with the subject and disappears again, because of a word, an interruption, a music, an external noise or a feeling of suffocation inside; No matter the reason, the being of silence is quiet and fragile..

BULB&Me

Bulb is a lighting interactive scenography which plays with the same word on itself. On one side Bulb (light object) and on the other side Bulb (in Catalan), is like the underground storage organs of nutrients (like in some aliments in botany, in anatomy the hair , ..)

A scenic space (conventional or not) where the movement is the source of nutrients and richness of the scenography, which reacts by modulating the intensity of light and sound of the space.

We work with the idea that bodies in motion generate the energy and this is visualized with light intensity. The dancers/users, on the stage/installation, affect on the intensity of the light bulbs and modulate sound.

Bulb is a dual proposal, as can be understood as an interactive installation and/or worked as a staging with specific working groups.

Bulbis a project open to work with many types of audiences and groups. The scenography with bulbs will always be the same but there will be people that will interact differently to the show (always based on guidelines and a continuous work of body/movement with the choreographer Irina Martínez).

To visualize the movement in relation to the intensity of light or sound modulation, we believe it is a very clean to take conscience of the body, movement, rhythm, both for whom it acts as who observes; a different way to observe and bring closer the language of dance.

The idea of Bulb is works with different groups (the elderly, women, exclusion social risk, people with disabilities, ..), from an interactive light scenography to work the own motion, from the individual and/or the group, for a specific time (X weeks) to finish making a sample of the resulting process.

A work of body and movement with which to express, convey emotions, to experience from an unusual context by some groups.

Synopsis

At this precise moment in the world there must be flying millions and millions of desires that want to come true. We ask for wishes in many different ways: blowing the candles on our birthday, watching a shooting star pass, blowing an eyelash, throwing a coin into a well or blowing a dandelion flower.
We want many things in many moments of our life, but ... where do these desires go? are they accomplish? Who makes them come true?

In Blowing we will live a trip of a small spore that has a mission, to fulfill the desire of Yuri. A trip through the wind, full of adventures and situations in which we will find answers to all these questions ... or not!

A visual, poetic and innovative show, where dance, live music and technology will invite us to fly through a fantastic, magical and absurd world.
