Múcab Dans is a dance company, based in Barcelona and Girona, which was born with the idea of creating multidisciplinary shows, combining performing and visual arts, to find a unique language in their work with the aim of bringing the language of movement to the general public.
It approaches its creations considering the sensibility and experience of the public, in order to bring it closer to a dance, a discipline that often feels distant to the audience.
It works with new technologies and multimedia as an interactive scenographic element, to create a new scenic dimension, always at the service of playwriting and choreography, seeking a new vision of dance and a new way of telling things.

Joan Laporta
Joan Laporta, musician and multimedia programmer, was born in Barcelona in 1979. He centers his work on the fusion of new technologies with the performing arts. He sees multimedia interaction as an infinite world in which everything is possible and, with this premise, he approaches any stage work he can participate in.
Producer in Bàcum/performing and visual arts and multimedia musician/programmer for the company Múcab Dans, he dedicates all the time he can to carry out all those projects that cross his mind, with the innocence and illusion of a child, but with the resources and experience he has acquired throughout his career.
Trained in the world of music and multimedia, he created the production company Bàcum/performing and visual arts with the idea of producing multidisciplinary shows, a space where some of his passions come together: music, stage and new technologies.

Graduated in classical dance at the Royal Academy of Dance, she furthered her training in the Netherlands, at the Henny Jurriëns Stiching Foundation, the Amsterdam Dance Center and The Theaterschool, among others.
