Yuria Omedis

Yuria Omedis, choreographer and dancer, was born in Barcelona in 1980. Artistic Director in Múcab Dans and Bàcum/performing and visual arts. In her choreographic work, explores the language of movement throught the technique, aesthetic and emotions, to convey what she wants express to the audience.

Escapes of labels to create compositions where can see details of classical dance, contemporary dance, neo-classical dance or jazz, depending on the needs of the scene or drama at each moment.

Graduated in classical dance by the Royal Academy of Dance, expands her training in the Netherlands, in the Henny Jurriëns Stiching Foundation, the Amsterdam Dance Center or The Theaterschool, among others.
